This year we are going to combine the EBC picnic and the annual awards ceremony for last year’s individual achievements. Normally we hold the awards ceremony indoors in the Spring. But this year we are going to take advantage of an outdoor venue to have a safer, socially distanced gathering of our members. Please register for the picnic by clicking on the Register link to on the listing. Due to the phase 4 restrictions, we will limit the picnic to 50 registrants.
A few notes about this year’s picnic:
1.We are still working on food catering, but will look for an option that is not a typical buffet style (either with a server or individually wrapped items).
2.Feel free to bring your own chairs so we can spread out on the lawn with social distancing.
3.As customary, we will look to ride leaders to post rides for the morning to end around the time of the picnic start time.
4.The main activity will be the awards ceremony which will honor members for their 2019 club participation and involve the handout of T-shirts, patches and ride-leader jerseys.
5.Masks or social distancing is required based on health guidelines. It will be up to each individual to decide how to closely to approach others and when to wear a mask.
6.The picnic is contingent on our region staying in phase 4. If we cannot hold a 50 person gathering due to health restrictions, this event will be canceled.
