Howl at the Moon / 15 mi @ 10-12 mph / Kim Messina

According to Maine Farmer's almanac, the first full Moon of summer was called The Buck Moon by Algonquin tribes. Early summer is normally when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. The 1st moon is also called Thunder Moon because of early summer's frequent thunderstorms.
However, EBC is welcome to howl at the moon as we approach the ski hill at Eldridge Park. Come join me for a slow social ride around Elmhurst on a warm summer's night, celebrating the end of the 4th of July weekend and of course, the full moon.
We will follow social distancing and mask wearing guidelines. Make sure you have lights on your bike, front and back.
