Brown County MTB Epic / ~50 mi @ 10-12 mph / Bob Wettermann 847-767-5745
This is a multiple day MTB adventure http://www.hmba.org/brown-county-epic/where I am planning on spending a single day to check it out (about 4hr drive). Leaving on FRI night the 11th before traffic clears out around 2PM with arrival at nearby event hotel https://www.browncountyinn.com/ . I would start event in early AM (7-8AM) on SAT the 12th and stay until mid afternoon with plans to leave at NLT 3PM and back in CHI area by Sat PM 8PM. Not a race and lots of trails/hills for novice to expert MTBers. Have room for one to share ride/room. Registration required. Rooms on your own. Call if questions as I have checked in with the organizer.
