33 miles route with 1,034 feet of elevation gain (31 feet per mile) from Geneva to Elburn and then Batavia with the following stops:

Obscurity Brewery-Mead in Elburn
Energy City Brewery in Batavia
Penrose Brewery in Geneva

ROUTE DESCRIPTION: Route leaving from Wheeler Park in Geneva (entrance off N 1st Ave/Geneva Road), meet under the Pavillion, bathrooms at start but no water, so please come prepared with your water to the start; After leaving Wheeling Park, we will head to downtown Elburn for their Small Business Saturday event in downtown Elburn with food and vendors, sponsored by the Village of Elburn and Obscurity Brewing at mile 14.2. We will spend approximately 30 minutes there before getting back on the bike.
From Elburn, the route heads south-east to Batavia for a stop at Energy City Brewing in Batavia at mile 28.1. We will spend approximately 30 minutes there. After leaving there, the route takes you from Batavia back to Geneva via Fox River Trail. We will stop for a group photo (approximately 10 minutes) by the Fabian Windmill off the Fox River Trail, approximately 3 miles from the finish.

For those who may be interested, there will be three options for 2 mile segments to go 15+ and then re-group. The entire ride will be maintained between 13-15 mph by the ride leader. Anyone interested in these 3 sprint segments are welcome to push their limits, but the ride leader will keep the moving rolling pace of 13-15 mph in these three sprint segments.

After the ride, those who are interested can head to Penrose Brewery, which is 1 mile from Wheeling Park. They do not carry food there though so bring your own post ride food or pick up something on the way to bring to Penrose Brewery. If enough people are interested, we can consider ordering a few pizzas and have them delivered there.
