The Stop Super Speeders bill (HB4948) has passed the House and is now moving through the Senate - but its next hurdle is the Senate Transportation Committee, and support from constituents is critical right now. Committee members need to hear directly from the people they represent that safer streets and preventing dangerous speeding are priorities.

The bill must pass out of committee by Friday (5/1) so this is an important moment to take action. If your State Senator serves on the Senate Transportation Committee (which is likely true for many of you, see the list here), please contact them through our action alert form and urge them to vote YES on HB4948 and consider co-sponsoring the bill.
HB4948 would create an Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) program which is a proven, cost-effective tool that helps prevent extreme speeding while still allowing people to drive. This legislation is focused on reducing the most dangerous speeding behaviors and making our streets safer for everyone.
