This is an unsupported event and therefore riders are responsible for themselves. Riding in this area of Illinois is very challenging. The routes take you through very remote areas with little access to food and water. It is imperative that riders come prepared for a very challenging day on the bike. All routes feature a majority of gravel roads.
Minimum recommended tire width is 32mm, while 40mm+ is ideal.
This event is free. This event is not a race.
Contact Dawn Piech directly if interested in coming to this event to make sure you understand what this event entails before committing. Bring enough food/water for your selected route and/or do food/water drop on the route before you start.
