In my effort to continue to support the movement towards equal pay for women in professional cycling, I have decided to put together a winter cycling challenge.
And guess what, it’s super easy. All you have to do is show up and ride. Yep, it’s just that easy!
Be a part of this exciting movement towards equal pay for women in professional cycling. For every person that shows up at these designated rides, I will make a donation in the spring to Homestretch Foundation, an official 501c3 nonprofit organization, with the mission to level the playing field of salary discrepancy in sport, so that female professional athletes have the same wages and equal opportunities as male professional athletes. Kathryn Bertine, professional cyclist, author, filmmaker and activist for women’s rights founded this organization in 2017.
For every women that shows up to ride, I will donate $1.66
For every male that shows up to ride, I will donate $1.00
If you cannot come out to ride, come meet us for coffee and treats afterwards in the Ginkgo Cafe at 10:45 am for some coffee fellowship.
