Brought to you by the Viking Biking Club (director of the Horribly Hilly Hundreds), the INSANE TERRAIN CHALLENGE RIDE is among the toughest Wisconsin cycling events. Prepare for extensive, satisfying suffering!
With two grueling route options (roughly 200K or 125K) designed by Greg Krystek (The Abomination, HHH), the INSANE TERRAIN CHALLENGE RIDE sets out from Blue Mounds, WI, and snakes through some of southwestern Wisconsin's most scenic rolling hills, averaging over 100 feet of ascent per mile on both routes.
We are doing the 125k (77 miles) which has over 7700 feet of climbing. This is not a lottery ride, anyone may enter.
