This is one of a weekly series of Sunday hikes sponsored by the Forest Trails Hiking Club to which several EBC members belong. I understand they walk at a fairly quick pace (3+ mph), but since the hike is nearby and in a area we know, it is a good one to try. To get to the start point, drive west from Rte 53 on Hobson Rd for 0.5 miles to Greene Rd; turn left (south); go 0.3 miles to the parking lot on the left (east) side of the road.
