Explore the paved paths and parkway roads of the Milwaukee area, with visits to American Science & Surplus, Greenfield News & Hobby, and Bike Expo. For those who haven't visited Bike Expo, it's basically a giant indoor tent sale for the Wheel & Sprocket bike shop chain in the Milwaukee Area. The admission is free and there's lots of bike stuff to look at. Directions to Greenfield Park: Take I-94 North to Milwaukee. Exit Left onto I-894. Go 9 miles to the Greenfield Ave. exit. Left on Greenfield 1.6 miles to 124th Street. Left on 124th Street 6/10 mile to Greenfield Park Main driveway. It's the first left off 124th, across from Park Avenue. The main parking area is to the left about 500 feet in. Look for the Orange minivan. Bring money, a good lock, and a means to carry any purchases back to the van.

We'll start off and ride as a group, but if anyone wants to do their own pace - faster or slower- they can rejoin the group at Schmale and the Great Western Trail in Carol Stream.

Saturday Morning Fast Ride switches from the Hills of Barrington to the country roads of Union, IL. This is the same route as the Schaumburg Bike Club Invitational. I'll have cue sheets and maps available at the start so nobody will get lost. This ride is mainly on flat and open country roads. On each loop, ONE 5mn break at the Marengo Ridge then 10mn break at the parking lot to refuel (also there's a convenience store available) Please support SBC by also riding on Sunday's Spring Forward.
