Hump~Day~Hustle NORMA GATTO Special / 20 mi. @ 10-12 mph / John Riordan

Special One-Time Event:   Honoring Norma & Dominick Gatto
***We are riding rain or shine for this event.***

Folks, member Vince Gatto's parents both passed away within a short interval of each other a couple months back after living long and fruitful lives and leaving behind a large, loving family.
This Wednesday night, instead of our usual Hustle, we will be heading out to the event dedicated to their life, love, and love of life.
We will be using the Salt Creek Greenway Trail which comes up right behind the gathering location, and ride for a total of 19 miles. (More details later.) This event will not be cancelled, and we will ride in the rain if necessary. Be prepared.
Here is the place where we will stop for a while, along with the event description:

============= Standard HDH Description ======================
Fun and conversation-oriented, trail (crushed limestone, or paved) ride with very little street riding. We ride the Great Western Trail-to-Illinois Prairie Path loop on a weekly schedule like clockwork. This ride proceeds at a pace in which conversation is highly encouraged, and easily accomplished. Night lights, front and back, needed. Mountain bikes and fat bikes encouraged, but even a road bike will work fine. Absolutely no one dropped. // We have a small bathroom break 10 miles out, and a larger break 14 miles into the ride. Our second break, in Wheaton, is next to at least four eateries, including a mouth-watering ice cream shop. If you haven't jumped in yet, the H-D-H train is on its way! Hop aboard! (Some folks jump on and off this ride mid-journey because it has a very predictable and accessible route.)
