Looking east across the pedestrian bridge in Eldridge Park. This bridge will be replace with a new, wider bridge.
A close up of the sign from the last picture. The plan is to have the new bridge open by June 15 because there is a $2,000 a day penalty starting June 15 for late completion.

Looking east from the parking lot on the south end of Eldridge Park. The trail will come from the previous bridge along the south side of the pond to the traffic light on Butterfield Road.
At the south end of Elmhurst, looking at where Roosevelt Road crosses Salt Creek. The trail will go under the right side of the bridge. They are presently breaking up a lot of concrete just south of Roosevelt Road in preparation for bridge work to get back over the creek and through Oak Brook. More on this in the next edition.
