Looking north across Salt Creek at part of the foundation one of the new bridges will rest on. You are looking toward St. Charles Road. Route 83 is just to the right as is the old weigh station at 83 and St. Charles. You may be able to make out the red and white striped roof of Kentucky Fried Chicken on the far right.

Turning around from where the picture on the left was taken, in the photos from March 27 I showed where the bridge would set at the other end. Here is the progress they have made. They are ready to pour concrete for this footing.

South of the Prairie Path on the east side of Salt Creek, about 1/2 mile north of Eldridge Park. We are talking some serious earth moving to grade the land for the new trail.

This is where the current wood-chipped trail comes from the north to Eldridge Park. The trail is closed as they are running the grader (picture on the left), preparing the site for subsequent pavement.
